+ Today is TEAM AV has been protecting wildlife with noise since the year 2000.

YouTubing reveals videos of Ice Boogie Boarding on Valentine's Day, set to "Rock for Nations" by Volta do Mar, plus "menos shopping, mais ciclovia!", bicicletada curitibana julho 2007 trilha sonora de Volta do Mar, and "into water out to sea onto land into the trees" - "Warszawa Minor" gets an art treatment.

A 2001 live video of Red Shirt Brigade performing "Sporto!" and the AV018 album video for the bonus track "Hand Over Your Feet".

Baby and Hide performing the unreleased "Impenetrable Denial" and a cover of "Goodbye Horses" live at the Empty Bottle on Valentine's Day 2008. The band also performed "Old Times" as well.

W
e are perpetually bad not good at manning the website. We are making futile, but whole-hearted attempts to change our internet ways. You can myspace your face off over at the AV page (which is also rarely if ever touched - since when did the Internet become a full-time culture bubble?) and follow links to bands, music, and people affiliated in some way or not with the TEAM AV internet experience You will be thrilled.

Eric lives in Europe. Jeremy lives in Chicago. In the ether exists the label, forevermore. We have embraced the global marketplace and Web2.0 and more, having forever abandoned mass produced consumer products.

Eventually we will have our
portable laboratory list of media/web tasks completed. Some of the artist pages linked to the right have video and audio links, and we also recommend checking out this streaming audio page for lots of AV music.

+BABY&HIDE: While the mice are away the cats will play, and our favorite electro-organic mash-up have a new collection of songs, called Cozy, that is, as expected, quite remarkable. There will be an official release date sometime in 2008, but in the meantime you can pick up the tracks for free from the band's website. Jeremy and Jeff, officially sans Chris, have also been seen peddling their vinyl single "Hark" b/w "Sigh" - that what was recorded and performed by Jeremy and Brian Deck. They've also been playing shows with Matt Mehlan and his Skeletons and would like to tour Europe sometime before we all die. Jeff has been wiretapping accumulating some live video footage and there are random audio cuts on their Myspace page as well. This stuff smells like revolution.

+MURDER BY DEATH: The biggest news from the land of milk and honey swinging corpses and evil beings is a new album, Red of Tooth and Claw, which the band released via the Vagrant label. They are also, as per usual, touring like crazy, headlining dates in the US and Europe this year. Stay tuned to the band's microwave antenna website for details as they unfold, and get your hands on some of that sweet toxic vinyl while they've got it in stock.

+OSO: Perpetually gaining momentum and hawking ever-changing versions of their exclusive/limited beeswax CDs, our four friends from Santa Barbara will be playing festivals as well as West Coast dates through the summer. They have a new album, Lonesome Tunnel Hum These Strong Arm Drones, which they're selling at shows in the aforementioned beeswax cases. Also, Check out this photo of Phil busking in Cork, Ireland! Anyone who wants to see the innocent die young some amazingly creative and original American music should see them at all costs, and if you can't check out some Youtube videos.

+PIGLET: After ravaging the American East Coast just once, our young Chicago trio has finally thrown in the towel on that absurd Chevy Astro van. There are no Piglet shows planned for the future, but if you'd like to pretend that you're having a private show in your room, with a polar bear and the Micro Machines guy, you should start by buying Ezra's blue six-string Brice bass guitar, which was used for Lava Land recordings and all Piglet shows up to the summer tour of '06. It is for sale. Check their page for details on what Ezra, Asher and Matt are up to individually as they make that information available but we should tell you they probably won't since those dudes aren't the website updating type. These dudes are rad, be prepared for rad things.

+RED SHIRT BRIGADE: Ryan and Scott now go by the handle Thunderbirds Are Now!. Trevor is in the bands Pas/Cal and Zoos of Berlin and South South Million, the latter two of which Dan is also in.

+DMS: Steve is now going crazy with red ink molding young minds in the English department at UC Boulder. No, there will not be another American Football album, although our friends at Polyvinyl did digitally release the ancient cuts from The One Up Downstairs, which was American Football before the Madden influence by another name.

+UTAH!: Yes, the rumors are true, Mickey has been granted the right to reproduce by a United States Federal Grand Jury a baby. That keeps him pretty busy. Annie plays out from time to time in and around Chapel Hill. You can catch Eddie doing some guitar gigs with a bunch of scumbags he met in detox notable indie rockers from time to time, keeping order at King's Barcade, or on the sidelines as an assistant coach for an 18-year old Select football team. That means soccer, you wanks.

+MT.ST.HELENS: Although our good pals at Divot fell prey to fire a while back, the boys from the Geneva that isn't in Switzerland are still at it. They released the hounds a new album last year via themselves and of course communicate with the world via their multimedia hub www.mountsaint.com.

Otherwise, everyone have their stories straight? knows the drill. Remember to commute by bike when you can, read up on Participatory Economics and Deep Ecology, mailorder something from Roy when you get a chance, if you're ever in Ames stop by the Practice Space, support organic farmers, adopt a bike messenger, and remember that we love your boyfriends as much as you do.
